School Rules & Expectations







Remain in line facing forward.

Do not leave your seat without permission.

Place your tray gently on the table.

Walk and move through the line quietly.

No talking until seated at your class table.

Don’t talk with food in your mouth.

Clean and pick up napkins from your area before leaving.

Use your inside voice while at the table.

Place food tray in the trashcan when leaving..



Stay in your designated play area.

Run and play nicely.

No physical or horseplay on the grounds.

Share all playground equipment.


Be kind and friendly to others.

Stay in your designated play area.

Take care of restroom needs quickly.

Immediately line up when the bell rings.



Walk straight to the office.

Knock before entering the principal’s office.

Walk straight back to class.

Keep your voice low.

Keep your hands, feet and objects to yourself.

Respect office personnel and visitors.

Follow adult directions.

Follow dress code.

Bus Area


Remain seated in your proper area.

Enter a bus line without pushing.

Stand behind the painted line.


Keep your hands and feet to yourself.

Listen to duty teachers and other adults.

Talk at a reasonable noise level.

Sit quietly and listen for your bus to be called.

Car Riders are to pay attention and watch for their ride.

Set a good example for others.



Use the restroom, wash hands, flush and leave.

Walk at ALL times.

Keep water in the sink.

Keep bathroom door closed for privacy.

Knock on the stall door before entering.

Use the restroom in the toilet/urinal.

Place paper in the toilet and flush.

Clean up after yourself.

Do not forget to wash hands.

Walk quietly.

Look out for adults crossing.

Walk to the right of sidewalk.

Walk quickly.



Keep your area clean, neat and organized.

Remain in your assigned seat.

Remain inside your classroom.

Listen while someone is talking.

Receive permission to leave a desk.

Remain quiet when a visitor is in the class.

Raise your hand to speak.

Bring all books and materials to class.

Complete all assigned work.

Be on time for class/school.

On the Bus

Remain seated.

Talk using inside or whisper voice.

Listen when the bus driver is talking.


Listen and obey the bus rules.

Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

Take all of your belongings with you when you get off of the bus.

Watch for your stop.

Look both ways before stepping off the bus and crossing the street.
